Chi Epsilon is the civil engineering honorary society.
Students are invited to join Chi Epsilon based, primarily, on the following four criteria:
- scholarship
- character
- practicality
- sociability
Scholarship is based on a grade point average that is in the top third of the class during the student's junior or senior
years. As part of their pledge activities, students generally participate
in some form of service-oriented activity - e.g., Engineering Open House, a community
project such as Habitat for Humanity, etc.
Dr. Gilbert Baladi is the faculty advisor
for the group.
