Project title: Integrating gene expression and metabolite profile to optimize cellular functions

Project Description: My research interest is to develop and apply approaches to integrate multiple source biological data e.g. gene expression, metabolites, interactome data, literature knowledge, to identify active pathways and biomarkers that induce a particular phenotype. Engineering identified targets (genes, molecules, pathways) to optimize cellular functions, e.g. silencing genes with siRNA, inhibiting protein with chemicals.
