The 10th International Workshop on Electromagnetic Nondestructive Evaluation
(ENDE) will take place on June 1 and 2, 2004 at the Kellogg Conference
Center in East Lansing, Michigan, United States.
Organized by The Nondestructive Evaluation Laboratory, The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Michigan State University College of Engineering.
Previous ENDE Workshops were held in:
Objective
The ENDE Workshop provides a forum for exchanging ideas and discussing developments
in the growing field of electromagnetic nondestructive evaluation methods.
Speakers from, the nuclear, aerospace, automotive and natural gas transmission industries have been invited to discuss challenges confronting them and ways in NDE can play a role in addressing these issues.
Subjects
All papers relating to electromagnetic nondestructive testing methods are welcome.
Topics of interest include numerical simulation of physical phenomena associated with electromagnetic
NDE methods, eddy current sensors, signal and image processing techniques employed for enhancing
probability of detection, and inverse solutions to NDE problems. A related and equally important
objective is to provide an opportunity for submitting of benchmark problems and solutions.
The Workshop emphasizes both basic science and early engineering developments in the field. The Workshop also strongly encourages practical application of emerging technologies to problems of direct relevance to industries. Consequently, both theoretical as well as applied research topics are of interest. |
