CHIEF ENGINEER

 

Degree:  BS Chemical Engineering

Years Experience:  10+

Salary:  to $75,000 plus bonus eligibility (based on experience)

Location:  Rocky Mountain Region

Industry: Refining

 

Requirements: Come join our team!  A small refinery that resides in the beautiful countryside of Montana!  We are seeking a Chemical Engineer with a broad based refinery background many units, process and project engineering, computer experience, able to work with and communicate with all levels and departments. Ties to the area is a plus!

 

Responsible for: 

Will do it all!  Half of the job is the daily troubleshooting, optimizing, and modernizing of any & all refinery units, tech service work, helping out where needed with other depts. The other half of the job consists of process area projects- estimating, planning, design, justification, working with vendors, installation, contractor supervision, etc.  Other tasks may be required to get projects done. Interact with maintenance, operations, accounting, marketing, EHS, QA, R&D, etc.

 

 


ENGINEERING MANAGER

 

Degree:  BS Chemical Engineering

Years Experience:  8+

Salary:  to $100,000 bonus eligibility (based on experience)

Location:  Midwest Metro Area

Industry: Specialty Fine Chemicals

 

Requirements: Open due to promotion!  A specialty chemical company is looking for a motivated manager for their Engineering department.  The incumbent must have a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering with at least 5 years of experience with unit operations in chemical production and purification; and 2 to 4 years prior manufacturing plant supervisory responsibility. Design experience in a chemical related manufacturing plant a must as well as large and small-scale project management experience requiring cGMP & validation.  Process Safety Management experience desirable. Biochemical, Pharmaceutical, and/or Transgenics process design and operations experience a plus.

 

Responsible for: 

The incumbent will develop and implement plans involving science and engineering that bring together the elements of personnel, process, equipment, facility & regulatory requirements to enable the company to produce products our customers want and need.  This individual will be responsible for the management of the Engineering Department including staff supervision and development, Development of engineering solutions to production and operation problems and opportunities, Project management and supervision of large-scale capital projects.
