2007-2008 Secretary

I am your secretary for 07-08.  I graduated from East Lansing High School in 2005. Currently, I am a junior in chemical engineering.  My primary reason for choosing chemical engineering was because of its tremendous flexibility in career paths I can take after graduation.

I have had one internship experience so far.  This past summer, I had an exciting opportunity to intern at Shell Chemical Plant in Deer Park, Texas. There I worked with the control systems group for the plant, improving on the design modes for the plants controller points. I learned a lot during this internship, and I highly recommend all future engineers to try their hands on an internship or a co-op, especially the underclassmen.  It's never too early to start looking for an internship.
