Profiles published on the web are an important tool in recruiting individuals to join and participate in our group.  These profiles offer a non-intrusive way for prospective members to consider who they will spend valuable time with and find interests that we may share in common.  Even though we are a professional organization, it is important to recognize that we are a group of individuals with different experiences, talents, and interests.  Engineers are sometimes stereotyped in a negative, non-social manner. As a member of an eclectic professional organization, we collectively learn to recognize differences and celebrate our uniqueness.

To make everything run smoothly, any organization must have individuals willing to dedicate time to get the job done. We have many of those people.
