MSU-AIChE Advisor Dr. Ofoli
Professor Ofoli has served as the faculty advisor for the AIChE Student
Chapter since 1996. He is also active in AIChE student activities
at the national level. He is currently helping organize the Annual
Student Conference, serving as a member of the Chem-E Car Rules Committee,
and helping run the Chem-E Car competition at the annual meeting. Professor
Ofoli's research focuses on developing biosensors for biomedical applications,
and on using catalytic nanoparticles for conversion of biorenewables
to commodity chemicals. His current undergraduate teaching responsibilities
include Modeling and Analysis of Transport Phenomena (CHE 210), Mass
Transfer and Separations (CHE 312), and the lecture session of Laboratory
Practice and Statistical Analysis (CHE 316).
