2008-2009 Vice President, Publicity 

I am the V.P. Publicity for 08-09.  Before the current position, I have held the positions of a secretary and a sophomore representative. Currently, I am a fourth year senior in Chemical Engineering.  My primary reason behind choosing to study chemical engineering is due to the vast possibilities in career paths 

I have had two internship experiences so far.  This past summer, I had an exciting opportunity to intern at Shell Chemical Plant in Deer Park, Texas. There I worked with the control systems group for the plant, improving on the design modes for the plants controller points. I learned a lot during this internship, and I highly recommend all future engineers to try their hands on an internship or a co-op, especially the underclassmen.  It's never too early to start looking for an internship.
