- Anaerobic digestion systems to convert animal and food wastes to renewable energy and other value-added products.
- Algal culture to produce renewable energy such as bioethanol, biodiesel and hydrogen.
- Fungal fermentation to produce high-value products such as organic acids, enzymes, and nutraceutical/pharmaceutical products.
