New Faculty Member

According to the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources Fall 2003 Total College Enrollments data, the Biosystems Engineering undergraduate program showed the highest student increase and the highest percentage increase in the entire college. To keep this trend going the department has hired Hope Croskey on a part- time basis as a Visiting Instructional Specialist. Ms. Croskey will be involved in teaching, student professional development, recruiting, retention, internships and co-ops, and job placement activities. She will also play a critical role in the outcome assessment required by ABET.

An alumni, Hope has an M.S. in Agricultural Engineering. She has 24 years of experience in state and federally delegated land / water programs, including surface water hydrology and hydraulics, floodplain maps modernization using GIS, groundwater modeling, dam safety engineering, soil erosion and sedimentation control, and the National Flood Insurance Program. She is a Professional Engineer (P.E.) and a Certified Floodplain Manager (C.F.M.).
