Workshop Purpose:

The movement of liquid manure to surface waters from artificially drained cropland is a concern. This workshop will highlight the current level of understanding and potential solutions identified through research and extension programs.

The Workshop Will:

  • Increase the level of understanding about the fate of liquid manure applied to artificially drained cropland.
  • Identify potential solutions to prevent the loss of liquid manure nutrients and pollutants to waters of the state.
  • Identify future research, extension, and outreach activities in the Great Lakes Region.
