2002 Ag Expo Pictorial

Expo's 35-acre, main exhibition site was filled with displays highlighting the latest technology in farm equipment, products, services, and supplies. Added attractions at the site include animal power demonstrations by Tillers International, tractors dating back to the early 1900s by the Mid- Michigan old Gas Tractor Association, daily family living demonstrations and much more.

Attractions included MSU's "education row", a cluster of exhibits at the west end of the show site representing departments from the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Representatives were on-hand to answer questions about animal health care, farm security, beneficial effects of soil quality, gardening display, farm business software, etc.

Whether watching a variety of daily demonstrations or checking out the latest in farm equipment, MSU's Ag Expo was the place to be. Ag Expo Web Site

Al Go was on hand to demonstrate the Michigan State University Nutrient Management (MSUNM) software program. MSUNM incorporates the capability of strategic planning, tactical planning and record keeping of key activities that affect whole farm nutrient management. MSUNM is jointly developed by the Agricultural Engineering and Crop and Soil Science Departments.

One of the many crowd pleases at Ag Expo is the Agricultural Engineering's ASAE Student Pulling Tractor.

Student Nick Tipper entertained Expo goers by demonstrating the pulling power of the ASAE Student Tractor.
