MEMBER APPLICATION FORM

The Industry Advisory Board membership shall consist of thrust areas of the program and the various industries served by the graduates. Those selected to serve on the Board will be individuals capable of improving the program and should represent both academic and non academic professionals.

  • The Board consists of twelve to fifteen members (three of which are alumni), the Department Chairperson, undergraduate Advisor and a student representative.
  • Members are appointed to staggered three-year terms.
  • Members can be reappointed for additional terms, not to exceed two consecutive terms.
  • Nominations may be made verbally or in writing to any Board member.
  • Regular meetings of the Board are held twice a year, once coinciding with the Biosystems Engineering Senior Design Showcase and once in the fall.
