Computer Science - Academic Advising

Computer Science deals with the representation, processing, display, and communication of information on computers. The program develops a strong base in algorithms, computer organization and architecture, operating systems, and theoretical issues. It also provides specialized study in computer networks, parallel computing, software engineering, programming languages, computer graphics, and intelligent systems. Computer scientists are employed in all areas of industry, government and education in such positions as systems analyst, component and systems designers and integrators, programmers, and teachers.
