Civil Engineering - Academic Advising
Civil Engineers are concerned with many of the problems facing society including environmental quality, building and maintaining the nation's infrastructure, and developing safe and rapid transportation systems. Topics of study include structures, soil mechanics, construction materials, environmental engineering, water resources, pavements, and transportation. This program emphasizes fundamentals of mathematics, sciences, engineering principles, and engineering methods leading to careers in engineering practice and/or graduate education. An option in Environmental Engineering is available.
