ACTT Workshop!

The workshop was successfully taken place on October 3-4, 2007 at MSU's Kellogg Center. 

Objectives of ACTT Center

  • Provide a leverage mechanism for machine tool manufacturers, cutting tool suppliers, technology developers, technology/system users, and government agency to work together in addressing existing issues and new challenges. To achieve the objective, ACT2 center will

Current Status

  • National Science Foundation (NSF) has approved planning grants for MSU and Georgia Tech.
  • The workshop in which relevant industries were attended held on Oct 2, 2007, in East Lansing , MI. The workshop aims to review research capabilities, discuss research agenda, and develop collaboration modes.
  • Eleven companies have made commitment to participate as members, the full proposal has went into NSF.
