How to become a member

Joining the Society of Women Engineers is very easy, and there are a couple of different ways you can do it. Probably the easiest way is to apply online, through the national Society of Women Engineers website. There are also application forms at all of our regular meetings, usually on the table outside the room where you sign in. Lastly, you can drop by the office of SWE's advisor, Judy Cordes in 1424 Engineering Building, and she is likely to have applications as well.

Applying for membership with SWE national automatically makes you a member of SWE MSU, and vice versa. All you have to do is make sure you choose Michigan State University as your school when you apply. Once you are a member of SWE, you will be able to take advantage of some of the many benefits of membership, including the SWE magazine and elgibility for scholarships.
