Topic: Graduation
Can I graduate with an engineering
degree in four years?
You
can graduate with an engineering degree in four years but
this requires semesters of heavy course work. Engineering
courses are time intensive as well as academically challenging.
Grade point average is critical in a competitive job market;
therefore the average graduation rate for engineering students
is 4 ½ years.
How do I apply to graduate?
You can either go to room 150 Administration Building
and complete a paper form there, or just fill the form out
at https://www.reg.msu.edu/StuForms/GradApp/GradApp.asp.
In order for your name to be printed in the commencement program you
must complete your application very early in your last semester (or in the spring semester prior to summer graduation -- see the web application
form for the exact date each semester).
