The programs are continually evolving, and so is the 
documentation. The file APXCOMPU.PDF is a PDF version
of the textbook appendix. The file can be viewed with the
free Adobe Acrobat reader availabe from
http://www.adobe.com/prodindex/acrobat/readstep.html.

To download the most current version of an individual program, 
move to the appropriate subdirectory.The files that have "pack" 
in their names are self extracting archives that have the entire 
subdirectory included. If you wish to download a particular 
subdirectory,download the "pack" file from the direcory, 
put it in the desired subdirectory and execute it. 

If you wish to download ALL the programs and documentation, 
they are available in the single file "progpack.exe". When
this program is executed, it will create an entire
directory system with all programs and documentation that
accompanies the text.    

   1. Print or transfer this file (alsoreadme.txt) so that
       you have the instructions.
   2. Transfer progpack.exe to your machine, and
      be sure to place it in an empty subdirectory on 
      your system before you run it. Do not place it in 
      the root directory, because it places some 
      files in the directory in which it resides.
   3. Run progpack.exe in recreate the subdirectories.
   4. progpack.exe may be deleted after you have checked that the 
      sudirectories have been created.
